Getting Ready for our next Cruise — The Utopia of the Seas! Archives ~ On the Road With Mickey

Which do we like better: DCL or Royal Caribbean?

Hey everyone, I’m Mike, she’s Sophie, that’s Brenda, and he’s Grogu, and we’re On the Road with Mickey! This is episode 240 and this week our feature topic is Which do we like better: DCL or Royal Caribbean? In this episode, I’m sharing details on the cruise that my wife and I took on Royal Caribbean’s latest ship, the Utopia of the Seas, as well as answering the question of which cruise line we like better! Here’s what we talked about:

Cheddar from the Big Cheese:

At the time of recording, the State of Florida is being slammed by Hurricane Milton. Because of that, Cheddar just doesn’t mean as much. As a result, we here at On the Road with Mickey would like to pass along to everyone hearing that we are praying for all of you; we have all experienced storms like this before, and our prayer is for God to surround all of you with His protection now and in the aftermath.

A little bit of Walt

“Every person has his own ideas of the act of praying for God’s guidance, tolerance, and mercy to fulfill his duties and responsibilities. My own concept of prayer is not as a plea for special favors nor as a quick palliation for wrongs knowingly committed. A prayer, it seems to me, implies a promise as well as a request; at the highest level, prayer not only is a supplication for strength and guidance, but also becomes an affirmation of life and thus a reverent praise of God.” – Walt Disney
