- Sophie: Disney World’s Grand Floridian Gingerbread House Construction is Underway! They handed out leftover pieces of gingerbread to guests as they were constructing the house!
- Mike: Universal Orlando Resort’s jolly destination-wide holidays celebration returns November 22 through December 31 – featuring Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Grinchmas, Universal’s holiday parade featuring Macy’s, and more
- Brenda: The Disney Treasure has embarked on its transatlantic journey from Europe to Port Canaveral, it’s home port! She left on October 29th on a 4500 mile adventure that will take two weeks and include a stop in Funchal, Portugal.

- Sophie: As we talked about last week, EPIC Universe opening date is May 22, 2025! And on October 22nd, the opportunity to secure your reservations opened up! Talk to Aunt Brenda or Daddy and they will be happy to help you navigate this new environment at Universal!
- Mike: Lightning Lane Premier Pass – an exclusive to Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resort guests that is being tried out as a pilot program. It’s a little bit like Universal Express Pass.

Cheddar from the Big Cheese:
- Mike: Huge refurbishment news from Disney – Walt Disney World’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will close on January 6, 2025 for a multi-year refurbishment! Look for a reopening sometime in 2026. This is likely part of the process of creating the Cars and Villains Lands.
- Sophie: Over at Disneyland, Louis’ Critter Club, the gift shop for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, is set to open on November 13, two days before the opening of the attraction.
- Brenda: The narrators and information on dining packages was just dropped for the Candlelight Processional! Dining packages for the shows can be made beginning on October 29th.

- Sophie: Coming to Epcot for the holidays – the Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses walking tour! This tour, which is a one-hour journey through the greenhouses, just like the regular Behind the Seeds tour, but the greenhouses are all decked out in brilliant holiday lights! It is $45 per person and tours are running from November 29 – December 30 at 6PM and 7PM. The traditional tour will run during the day.
- Brenda: Breaking news! Star-Lord is on his way to reunite with his fellow Terrans over at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!
