Cheddar from the Big Cheese
- Disney Parks Blog released more information on how they will keep things safe at their resorts from a cleanliness and social distancing standpoint. (Here’s the link: https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2020/06/an-update-on-disney-resort-hotels-from-katie-kelly-vice-president-of-worldwide-safety-services/)
- Major League Soccer is going to resume it’s 25th season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at WDW. The tournament is called MLS is Back and will run from July 8 – August 11. Word is that they’ll be staying at the Disney Swan & Dolphin Resort.
- Huge news! Disneyland has submitted re-opening plans for Disneyland, Disney’s California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney, and their hotels! Downtown Disney is looking to reopen on July 9. The Parks are looking to re-open on July 17, which is the 65th anniversary of Disneyland. Paradise Pier and Grand Californian Hotels are set to re-open on July 23! No word yet on when Disneyland Hotel will re-open.

- Saturday, March 21st Animal Kingdom welcomed a new baby — a Hartmann’s Zebra was born to first time mother Heidi, a baby girl.
- Also, on February 25th, Animal Kingdom welcomed a new baby porcupine, also known as a porcupette. The baby girl was born to Peri, her mother, who was featured on the Disney+ documentary One Day at Disney
- Over on the Disney fan site Chip & Co, they have a whole collection of posts up. It’s their Virtual Day at Disney series, and they have one for each of the Walt Disney World parks, and have now posted a virtual day at Disneyland. I expect they will also post a virtual day at California Adventure Park as well.

Hey everyone, I’m Mike, and she’s Sophie, and together, We’re on the road with Mickey! As you know from listening to the show, this week we were scheduled to be broadcasting from Walt Disney World; but with the coronavirus concerns and Covid-19, our plans had to change. So this week, we’re talking about what we do when Disney plans change.

Mostly, we’re watching some Disney+, and listening to Disney music, and talking about what Disney attractions we would be on, things like that. So, this week’s show is shorter than normal, but don’t worry, we’ll be back in force next week with a regular show.
